What do I want to be when I grow up? Why am I still asking this question at age 34? I went to law school and then decided I didn't want to be a lawyer, so I started teaching. Then I decided I didn't want to be a teacher, so I became a lawyer! Go figure! Now I am practicing law and I am bored out of my mind! So what now? Am I really supposed to enjoy my job? Does anyone ever have jobs that they look forward to going to... jobs that make them happy and pay the bills?
I have to figure out what I want to do before it is too late to change occupations. Every time I think I have it figured out, I find out that I was wrong. Why is it that the jobs that make you happy are the ones that are either out of reach or the ones that pay you in bubble gum? My mission now is to find something that I can do that pays well, allows for flexibility, and doesn't bore me out of my mind. Any suggestions?
